Major Update Character System RPG Engine

AnyTale RPG System - Character Sheets & Roll System

A major milestone has been reached! The complete AnyTale RPG system is now implemented, featuring comprehensive character sheets, d100 roll mechanics, and a beautiful lavender-purple themed interface.

This update introduces a fully functional character management system designed specifically for the AnyTale RPG ruleset:

  • Interactive Character Sheets: Full character sheet with tabbed interface (Overview, Skills, Inventory, Conditions)
  • Potentials System: Six core attributes (Physique, Mind, Charisma, Instinct, Will, Intuition) with visual progress bars
  • d100 Roll System: Complete dice rolling mechanics with difficulty modifiers and success/failure calculations
  • Skills Management: Dynamic skill system tied to potentials with custom skill creation
  • Combat Statistics: Willpower, Toughness, Defense tracking with automatic calculations
  • Resource Tracking: Custom resources, luck points, and condition management
  • Inventory System: Item management with categories, rarity, and weight tracking
  • GM Tools: Roll requests, hidden rolls, all your GM tools are here
  • Responsive Design: Fully mobile-friendly with collapsible sections and intuitive navigation
  • Modern UI: Elegant lavender-purple theme with glass morphism effects and smooth animations

The system supports both player and GM perspectives, with mini-sheets for quick reference during gameplay.

New Feature

Language and Location System

Implemented one of AnyTale's key features — the in-game language system. Characters can now know different languages (Common, Elvish, Dwarvish, etc.), and messages will be displayed to players based on their characters' knowledge.

Also added a location system, allowing GMs to create different scenes and move players between them. Each location has its own chat, enabling multiple storylines simultaneously.

Planning Milestone

AnyTale Development Start

Today marks the official start of AnyTale development! After several months of planning and design, we've finally begun coding.

The core concept of our platform is a new approach to data storage. Almost all campaign data will be stored locally by the game master, with the server only used for coordinating connections between participants. This will:

  • Reduce server load and consequently make the service more affordable
  • Give GMs full control over their campaign data
  • Minimize the risk of data loss due to service issues

There's a lot of work ahead, but we're full of enthusiasm! Stay tuned for updates.
